Hehe, nope. It's probably related to the way Chinese translates into English that makes it seem fast paced. We have a different order when it comes to sentence structure. It's most notable when they are directly mentioning a person while speaking but even compared to Japanese, I think Chinese is quicker paced, especially when they talk passionately. It gets easier if you can master the art of reading at a glance though >: ]

That being said, THAT only works if the subbing quality isn't somewhere down in the sewers. Quanzhi is more the exception than the rule when it comes to Chinese subbing quality.
